Our Foundation

"Reno"

Can CH Adobe's Gamblers Dream CD, CGC, TT, ROMC, ThD

Reno
Ch Westarrs Techinicolor Dreamcoat X Adobe's California Dreamin CD

Reno was our first Doberman and the original Foundation bitch for Devonquest. She produced two litters totalling 6 puppies. Reno's first litter produced 5 pups, 2 of which are Can Champions, 1 being a Best in Show winner. Her pups have gone on to achieve Agility titles, Obedience titles, and Temperament titles.

Unfortunately Reno died of Cardio at 5 years of age. Due to this fact the entire litter, including the Best in Show winner was spayed/neutered.

We were fortunate great longevity in the 5 pups produced by Reno. Zeke died of cancer at the age of 7 and Devon died at the age of 10 also from cancer. Freedom and Czar died of Cardio at the age of 12. The remaining boy, Vandal died at 13 years old, laying in the sun having an afternoon nap.

Chanel is our foundation bitch from our second attempt at producing a healthy line here at Devonquest. She has produced two litters for us and they can be seen by viewing our Girls and Extended Family pages.

"Utah"

Can CH Royolyn Anasazi WAC, CGN

Utah
CH Cambria's Cactus Cash X Can CH Royolyn Summer Shade LC-10D BFL-1

Utah sired our first litter after we took a break from breeding for 8 years. Utah was neutered in 2008 due to Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia. We decided that keeping our boy healthy was more important than keeping him as a stud dog. Utah had by far the ideal Doberman Temperament. He was friendly and caring yet protective when he needed to be. Utah scored a perfect score on the Working Aptitude Test and exemplified what the Doberman Temperament should be.

Utah passed away in 2013 at the age of 10. We have frozen semen from Utah which we are keeping for a future breeding down the road.
